This was a wonderful hidden gem that we were so happy we randomly wandered into. We almost went to Fire Ramen, almost went to Yappari steakhouse, but landed here because it seemed so much more legitimate. The amazing chef opened early for us, was welcoming, kind, and the experience was perfect. Amazing local spot, DELICIOUS beef, pickles, and even stand-out lettuce. Highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of beef and authenticity.

My hotel is nearby and I was craving for grilled beef and decided to check this place out. It’s great. No waiting and reservation needed and my meal was fabulous. The meat was so tender and juicy. I was very satisfied and the waiter was friendly and patient despite the the amount of people he had to care for. If you’re looking to venture outside the touristy area of Kyoto, come here. It would be a relaxing walk after a yummy meal.
